This is Sam's foster mother, and I have to say that when we brought him home, he made such good friends with Moxie, Sully, and Sissy.   Sadly, they are not good influences.   Sam hides out and will not allow his picture taken.    I am so sad that he went that route, catnip is evil and I feel horrid that I didn't have the chance to warn him.   I am going to do my best to get him back to the good side but I worry that they may have broken him.   I look for him all the time, but he chooses to remain hidden....I'm so worried.

July 8th, 2013 - Leavin' on a Jet Plane!

 

 

I am very excited as I learned last night I get to go on another trip!  I am hoping that this means I get to be reunited with my original owners now that they are back from their vacation.  I am a little sad though as I realized as we were packing that I am going by myself and my brother Sam is not coming along.  

 

 

 

 

Houston?  Houston?  Where the heck is Houston?  Why am I going there?  From what I have read on  the airport kiosk it is supposed to be 99 degrees there today!  How is a little black sock going to survive that heat?  This must mean I am going to meet  up with my original owner...who else would need black socks when it  is this warm outside??

 

Alright, got settled into my seat...not happy to find that it is a middle seat AND not in first class.... I am going to have to talk to my travel companion and let her know this simply will not do for future trips I might have to take.

 

Settling in for the night... this bed is really soft....I miss Sam, but hopefully he is having fun back in Seattle.... Tomorrow I am on my own as my travel companion has to work all day.  Maybe I will float in the pool while she is out.  Tomorrow night she promised me a steak dinner.

4th of July in America!

I got to visit the United States of America to watch them celebrate their independence!

Today, we are in Seattle, WA!  I was always promised the Eternal City (Rome), but I will have to settle for the Emerald City of Seattle.

We enjoyed wine, cigars, and I made a new friend with the bag that comes on Crown Royal.  I think we are going to get along really well.

Amsterdam

My new owners are keeping their promise!  We enjoyed a few days in Greve in Chianti, Italy together and it was very special.  We had some wine by the pool and I really enjoyed the villa.

Today, I got to go on my first plane ride!  I was a little scared at first, but I was assured that it would be well worth it and it was.

We had a layover in Amsterdam.  It was everything that I have read about, but I had a little more fun than my brother, so I was quickly brought back to reality.

Foster Parents

It is a sad day for me and my twin brother.  Our owner abandoned us today without even saying goodbye.

We didn't make fun of our owner for wearing us with sandals.  We were able to look past the all black, death obsession, fashion phase that he was going through as well, so we don't know why we were left behind.

Although, he abandoned us before taking us to Rome as he had always promised while we were growing up, we will always have the memories of walking the Italian countryside with our original owners and riding in the Fiat Panda that he loved driving so much.  We almost got it up to 45 miles per hour once!  Ah... the memories, but we must move on and build new memories to forget about that day when were left on a stranger's pillow as my owners sneaked out the door and disappeared with the Panda on their way to Rome.

I still hope to see my parents once again.  All they left was a business card with an email address on it.

My brother and I are very grateful!  My new owners gladly took me in and even introduced me to another set of foster parents.  They have promised to take good care of us and include us in their future journeys and they support our quest to be reunited with our original parents once again.
